This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this site and take lessons with me.
Who I am
EFL with Holly is run by Holly, an independent English teacher in the United States.
This website
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising. It loads nothing from other companies. The company that hosts the site keeps routine server logs, such as your IP address and the time of your visit, to run the site and keep it secure.
Booking and paying
When you book, I receive your name, your email address, your time zone and anything you choose to tell me. Payment is handled by a payment company, and I never see your full card number.
Lessons and homework
Lessons take place on Zoom, which handles video and sound under its own privacy policy. You also get an account in an online homework portal run by an education company. I can see your answers and scores there, so that I can follow your progress.
What I keep
I keep your contact details, our messages and my notes about your lessons while you are my student. I do not sell your information or share it for advertising. If you stop taking lessons, you can ask me to delete it.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.
Adults only
Lessons are for adults aged 18 and over, and this site is not meant for children.
